Our split ferrite core adopts VN09 ferrite material. It has an initial permeability of 850 and Curie temperature above 130°C, providing consistent high-frequency impedance for noise filtering. With an open-and-close clip structure, it can be clamped onto finished cables conveniently. You do not need to cut cables or strip conductors for installation. It effectively reduces high-frequency electromagnetic interference on cables for EMI optimization. All our products satisfy ROHS and REACH standards, ideal for EMC test debugging, on-site noise correction and mass production pre-installation. Dimensions: inner diameter 8.0 mm, outer diameter 23.0 mm, total base width 26 mm.

Core function: Attenuate conducted and radiated high-frequency EMI noise transmitted along cables, upgrade the EMC performance of electronic equipment and help products pass certification tests such as EN55014 and GB9254. The hinged split design supports retrofitting on assembled wiring harnesses, making it a reliable EMC correction component.![]()
Application fields:
Q1. Why does the same ferrite core show different filtering results on different cables?
A1. Cable thickness, wire type, operating frequency and noise source will all change the actual filtering effect of the ferrite core.
Q2. Can this split ferrite core work for DC power cables?
A2. Absolutely. It works well on DC cables. It only suppresses high-frequency noise and will not block DC power flow.
Q3. What will happen if the ferrite core is heated above its Curie temperature?
A3. It will lose its magnetic properties temporarily and stop filtering EMI noise. Its performance will recover after cooling down.
Q4. Is the clip part of the ferrite core replaceable if it breaks?
A4. Normally the clip and ferrite core are assembled as one unit. We suggest replacing the whole piece once the clip gets damaged.
Q5. Do I need to ground the snap-on ferrite core?
A5. No grounding is required for this type of ferrite core. It works by impedance absorption instead of grounding diversion.
