During the initial electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) pre-test, the luminaire showed high levels of conducted noise. An initial attempt using a 16FJ amorphous core with 2 turns yielded a 7dB margin, but it was borderline for certain frequency points, risking inconsistency in mass production.
Our engineers recommended upgrading to the VIIP 20FJ Amorphous Ferrite Core (the white toroidal core shown in the visuals). By increasing the configuration to 4 turns, we effectively increased the high-frequency impedance, creating a more robust barrier against electromagnetic interference.
